I installed a Easysolar ii GX 24/3000.
Easysolar is sofar running but
I can’t access the MMP over Bluetooth. Is listed as well as easysolar but 000000 does not work.
Do I really have to open the box to find the PIN of the MPPT ???
I can only see basics like soft Version and name but can’t configure anything.
I can connect via WLAn with the RJ45 doogle provided, see parameters (APP iPhone or PC Win11) but can’t switch the AC output ON
Question (And spend hours trying to find out in the docs):
Do I absolutely need the MK3 USB to configure the easysolar ?
I f no, why can’t I set the AC output to ON as other parameter (Name for ex.) can be changed ?
Do I have to configure separately the MPPT (Where to find the PIN ? ) ?
Thank yo for your help
Is the battery on is ther power at the inverter terminals? Search with Victron connect for the MPPT (with BT and location on for a duh)
There is a sticker on your unit. Surely you saw it when connecting it up?
The sticker has information like the vrm id etc on it.
Yep 'tis what even the professionals have to do. Pity osmosis doesn’t work, i would use manuals as pillows.
You can program the inverter over the vrm using a laptop and ve configure. Also need to read the manual for that if you have never done it. Or watch a you tube video from the Victron channel.
Usually start with the on/off physical button for that.
Thx but again, I wrote Easysolar is running and MPPT is listed on VE connect. So obiously easysolar is ON. And I am not dumb, so if it would not be on, I would not try to connect
Yes, there is a sticker on the unit mit PIN Code for the easysolar NOT the MPPT and NO PUK !
I know I can mate, but in that case, I can’t, that the point !
So again, read my explanation.
And good point, if the swith would be OFF, I would not be able to acces the easysolar over Wifi as written
When you say this is does imply there is nothing on.
Maybe you do need to clean you post up you think you have been clear but there is a lot of conflicting information.
Unless you have mixed up AC and DC in your wording?
@lxonline
I mention AC because as written, I can’t set AC output ON. This does not mean the easysolar is not running! That mean I see on display (so as expert you know that mean the easysolar ist ON but I read OFF on the screen.
My post may be confusing because it’s confusing, obviously and expert answer make all that even more confusing.
Inverter running would generally mean it is inverting. If the inverter is inverting there should be AC output. If it wasn’t a problem it should not have been mentioned.
The inverter physical switch position is in the off position.
If you connect the uni to the vrm, you can skip over the bluetooth programming and use Victron connect to program over the VRM.
You asked where to find the sticker and I gave you the answer to that.
The sticker you probably found near the USB/VE.Direct/VE.Can connection show you the PIN/PUK for the GX module, not for the MPPT.
If you can’t find the sticker in the plastic bag you have to contact the seller/distributor from whom you bought the device they can help you with the PIN or PUK.
