EasySolar 2 toggle switch at the bottom of the unit. All on, off, charger only

I have discovered the EasySolar 2 does not operate as stated. The toggle switch on the bottom of the unit is supposed to allow operating the charger only, with inverter switched off. This does not happen. I do now have a control in VRM, as a result of an update, I think. Still, Victron state this switch functions as I described above, in their manual. It in fact, does not.

Doesnt it work at all or partly?
