Hello all! I’m having difficulties finding answers to a question about my new solar power off-grid installation.

Is it possible to charge connected batteries with solar panels only with the inverter off?
Basically I wish to leave my off-grid installation for the winter in a state where the EasySolar-II GX will not draw any power, but will allow charging.

EasySolar-II GX, four 435W panels, four 120Ah AGM batteries.

Use the charger only position if in doubt.

The manual only described the rocker switch as affecting the inverter part of the inverter.
