Easysolar 12/1600/70 + Lifepo4 don´t stop charging

Hello everybody,
in our caravan we installt an easysolar 12V and a lifepo4 Battery.
Config of the internal Multiplus was done via MK3 cabel, everything looks good. But after the first charging via the 230V input, the batterie charger don´t stop charging, even after a complete day.
You can also hear the transformator is working.

Doesn´t the Multiplus recognize that the Batterie is in floating charging and stop the charge cycle? Is there a way to do it better?

The sound of the charger is disturbing.

Thanks for your answers

Hmm. Not much info to go on.

Perhaps some details?
Battery capacity?
Battery voltage obtained?
Battery amp charge rate?
Screenshot of inverter battery charge settings?
Anything?

Also battery details, is it communicating with the Multiplus and directing charge.

New batteries are only 40 to 50% full so can take longer to charge than expected and show 100% full even though they are not. SOC is only accurate at the end of the first charge.

Hi together,

i did another test, this time without AC input. And the buzzing of the transormator is still hearable. So that means the noise must come from the inverter part. Is there a possibility to switch of the inverter everytime a 230V AC input is present? In the VEConfig in the Tab Grid i disabled UPS, but that dont change anything. In the Tabs Inverter there is no item to change it

The Multiplus has a single ac to dc converter, it runs one way to charge the batteries (ac to dc) and in reverse to invert (dc to ac) so it is always active. The noise is from the large transformer converting from 12V ac to 230V ac.

Hmm ok thats sad. So maybe a Chance with raspberry and Venus os? Check if battery is Full and ac in is present. If this is the case Switch off inverter and charger.

Thank you for your Support. This Community is Great

Switching off the inverter and charger means switching off the entire MultiPlus → no passthrough from AC IN to OUT
In that case you would need to bypass the MultiPlus.

So realy no Chance to get the trafo silent? Also Not with a additional device? :frowning:
