Hi,

i wanted to enable DESS on an addition system i have. (300Ah MPII Cerbo)
when i go to the DESS wizard on the VRM site.
Provide te System values, click next.
Provide Battery values an click next.
Then the wizard jumps back to the system settings. all fields empty)

I have already 2 other systems running with DESS… did check settings and checked firmwasre

Also did a check via node-red to check if the system is able to do DESS, and it is…

no clue why this happens.
anybody seen this same issue?

Yup, I was just about to write about this. Same exact issue. Jumps back to system settings.

Hi, I have the same issue.
Dynamic ESS setup loops between System and Battery pages and never proceeds to Buy/Sell prices.

My setup:

  • MultiPlus-II GX 48/5000/70-50

  • Pylontech battery over CAN

  • ET112 grid meter

  • GoodWe GW5000D-NS on AC-out-1

  • ESS already installed and active

  • Netherlands, 1x40A grid connection

I tested both browsers (Edge, Chrome) and VRM apps (Android, iOS).
I also saved the installation location successfully, but the issue remains.

Values used:

  • Sell back to grid: Yes

  • Max import power: 9 kW

  • Max export power: 5 kW

  • Battery capacity: 4.8 kWh

  • Max charge power: 2.4 kW

  • Max discharge power: 2.4 kW

So this looks like a reproducible issue, not an isolated configuration problem.

Have anyone try beta 2.71, maby than it wil work.

I also have the same problem with a new install. Tried also the beta 2.71.

Are there any Victron people here? How do we get their attention?

I have try it today and now it is working, without install the beta version.

Half an hour ago, it didn’t work, but now it does :slight_smile: . In my case using the beta version.
