Dynamic ESS setting changes fails

Hi,

I have an issue regarding Dynamic ESS setting changes.

When I try to change the Battery Maximum discharge power and/or Battery maximum charge power, the changes are not stored.
In the VRM environment, via Settings and Dynamic ESS, under Battery, I click ‘Edit’. I change the Battery Maximum discharge power and click ‘Submit’. The new value is displayed correctly, but when I refresh the page, the old value is set again. The same happens with Battery Maximum charge power. I have no problems changing the Battery cycle costs.

Thank you very much

Today I experienced the same issue, albeit with the maximum import/export power settings: changed values do not get stored and revert to old values after changing/refreshing pages.
Definitely a bug, probably on VRM side.

Yes, that’s my guess, a bug. Very annoying, as bugs are. DESS now calculates with the wrong values, I would love to be able to set it correctly soon…

I have the same issue. I hope this will be fixed soon.

I called it in with my supplier, they are looking into it. To be continued.

According to Victron development there is a known issue with VenusOS expecting an integer value, therefore being unable to set any value with a decimal point. A fix is in the works for v3.60~33.
Not sure if that solves OP’s issue though.

Same here.

Also integer values are not stored.

V3.60~39 is out. The ‘fix’ that was remotely applied by Victron Dev on our system last weekend seems to be included in this update, still works at least.

Great!

Welcome @hoihallo
You might want to try the beta update just released and see if that works for you. Let us know either way.

It works for me.
Thanks for the fix.

I’m just a customer but yeah, kuddo’s to the dev team
