Dynamic ESS Battery capacity = 0KWh and can not be changed

Today I replaced my trusty old Venus GX for a Cerbo GX MK2.

Which went pretty smooth

But for some reason my old Dynamic ESS settings where not carried over.
No problem, just enter the Dynamic ESS stuff again.

For some reason, I can not change the Battery capacity it shows “0” KW and does not accept any other value.
When submitting the changes, I get 2 messages.

1. Settings saved

2. Dynamic ESS can not be turned on because real-time communication could not be established. Make sure you have VRM Portal mode to “FULL”
   Which it is.

   

I checked with MQTT explorer and can see this:
N/xxx/system/0/DynamicEss/Mode { “value”: 0}

The log file shows

Any idea what I am doing wrong here?

This morning I was geated by a NEW VRM with the collapsable side menu
… and now I could set the “Battery energy capacity” and Dynamic ESS could be enabled
Problem disappeared
