I have ( I think!) programmed the Dynamic ESS { see below] to forcible discharge to the grid ( Octopus) when there is sufficient capacity in the batteries (My Supplier is Octopus UK Tariff Flux)
I have a Multiplus Inverter 48/5000/70 and 5 Pylontech US 5000 batteries with total useable capacity of about 18.5 kWh. SOC set to a min of 15%. The batteries due to the limitation of the inverter are charged overnight at the cheap rate to 75 to 80%
Between the hours of 16.00 to 19.00 hrs when the Octopus Tariff is most Favorable the batteries are not forcibly discharged even though the batteries are at least 50% full WHY ?
Any help that you can give a laymen will be very Gratefully received
