When I have ESS on, my batteries discharge.
When I have Dynamic ESS on, my batteries don’t discharge and it seems to hold the SOC for unknown reasons.
Only toward the end of the day does it consider to lower the SOC, but the price is the same throughout the day for buying energy.
I’ve ultimately gone back to basic ‘force charging at night’ as the dynamic ESS ends up holding the battery SOC, and doesn’t use the capacity available.
Anyone else had this issue or similar, and any advice, see the graphs which show these example days.
N.B this isn’t forced battery balancing
as it happened on multiple days.
