Yesterday I updated my VM-3P75CT to the latest version. During the first attempt I got an error message, but when I ran the update again it completed successfully.
The only issue now is that when I click on Firmware Update, I see the VM-3P75CT listed twice. Everything works fine otherwise. In my device list I only see one device as expected. The only difference is that in the firmware update section there are two entries: one shows a longer serial number than the other.
This happens when the energy meter is connected both to VE.Can and to ethernet. When looking for devices to update, the GX device then finds it both via VE.Can and via the network. The serial number on VE.Can also contains the CAN unique id, which makes it longer.
Is there a reason to have it connected both via VE.Can and via ethernet? We advice to only connect it via 1 interface.
