I don’t have EVCS, but I have a hypothesis. In venus os (cerbo) it also displays all inputs on the left and all consumers on the right, independent on the physical location. Perhaps the same for EVCS display. In VRM (online webpage or app) shows the location as per settings

i use the virtual device for EVCS It even shows it connected to essential loads, no chance to alter it
