Display on EVCS shows EVCS on AC Output regardless of location setting

I have updated my EVCS to v2.05/5.2 firmware and now the display on both the web interface and the LCD shows the EVCS connected to the Victron Inverter AC output even though it is on the AC input / grid side and the “EV Charger position:” setting is set to “Inverter AC In”. After toggling the setting to In and Out, saving settings and restarting device the displayed location is always on the output. Any ideas? is this a bug?

I don’t have EVCS, but I have a hypothesis.

In venus os (cerbo) it also displays all inputs on the left and all consumers on the right, independent on the physical location.

Perhaps the same for EVCS display. In VRM (online webpage or app) shows the location as per settings

i use the virtual device for EVCS

It even shows it connected to essential loads, no chance to alter it

I have a similar, but more dynamic issue. Unfortunately no news so far…
