I have a victron Multiplus 48/5000 which charges fine at max capacity but when it comes to discharging will not go above 1500w. I have played with ALL the settings and tried out 3 different BMS (all JK) wich makes me pretty confident that it has something to do with my invertor settings, but I can’t figure out what it is. The CCL and DCL are set by the BMS but ignored by the invertor. When I change the max CCL from 200 to 100amps the output drops from 28amps to 14 amps.
Hello!
I got the same problem, witch battery are you using?
Today i was in touch with Victron about this problem, after hours of trying they found no problem in my settings.
Grid setpoint is 0
Yes energy meter is installed
15KW battery with 200A BMS (DCL and CCL 200A)
ESS loaded and DESS active
I have tried the system and under all conditions ESS/DESS/O-meter all limit discharge to only 1500W, when I disconnect from the grid the victron does ramp up to the required power (which was 50 amps during the test).
Were you able to solve the issue? I was! As it turns out there is a setting called Hub4-setpoint which was somehow stuck at 15%, the Victron tech-guy has reset this setting and now I am able to discharge at full capacity!! It is a setting that the user cannot directly access. Regarding the cause of the issue, I suspect it might have had something to do with my Home Assistant integration plugin for Victron, but I can’t be sure. Hope this helps you. Good luck with your installation.
