Hello, community. I’ve been running my Cerbo GX without any problems, except for the LEDs, which are too bright at night. Since the installation (MPPT, batteries, Cerbo, etc.) is in the guest room, such bright lights are truly unbearable at night. Is there a way (without taping them) to dim or turn off the LEDs, and only turn them on when needed? Greetings!
Thanks for your response.
I searched and couldn’t find the option in the menu. Do you have a step-by-step guide to finding this option?
Thanks!
Settings / General / Alarms & Feedback / Status LEDs
On gui v2 on 3.60, other options may have slightly different menu arrangements.
Thanks a lot. I’ll try at nigth (of argentina, 5 hours from now)
You may have an OS version older than 3.30… Right?
Yes, is firmware v2.91. Cerbo GX HQ2340UHKHH
Can I upgrade? Where I can do it?
If the system is working OK, without problems, and this is the sole thing that inconvenience you, then maybe it’s better to leave it this way, without upgrading it, and maybe just put a small sticker over the leds.
You know, if it works, don’t mess with it… Sometimes improving means introducing new “features” (read “bugs”)
If you still want to upgrade it, then Settings → Firmware → Online updates → Check for updates.
