DESS in Green-Mode sometimes shows 3 unexpected behaviours: Charging, when there is enough solar available later the day (I1) Discharging to grid, even if the battery is not fully charged (I2) Not charging/discharging, but idling and sending solar-overhead to the grid, even if the battery is not f…

Could you give me your your site-id? The numeric one in the VRM url? Will have a look at what happened there.

VRM Portal - Victron Energy VRM by Victron Energy gives realtime insights into your energy. Monitor complete energy systems, tanks and temperatures remotely.

I’ve checked that. The System did everything smooth as “requested” by the schedule. Why the schedule requested a battery-idle from 12 to 15 … I would need to check with the dev of the scheduler. Can’t see any reason for that.

Today I did some reconfiguring and added a MP2 to the setup so I have more capacity to charge the battery from solar (I have more PV than a single MP2-3000 can handle). I’ll monitor it for the coming days to see if there are strange behavious / unexpected export to the grid.

[image] Karkas: Did anyone yet test v3.55 of Cerbo GX? Is the Feed in still a problem or does @dognose Hack still work? Hack still works on v3.55 ! Only VenusOS v3.60~47 and higher are incompatible with the Hack.

I have a question about DESS trying to reach MIN SOC at the end of the day. I can see that in com.victronenergy.settings is /Settings/DynamicESS/MinSOC that I have set to 30% in my case. But all the calculations still target ESS Min SOC at the end of the day, that I have set to 15%. The problem is…

Hi, There is no com.victronenergy.settings/.../DynamicEss/MinSoc Setting. The value exposed in com.victronenergy.system/.../DynamicEss/MinSoc is just a dump of the EssMinSoc and not read, even if modified externally. So, the System is using the regular MinSoc Setting. What you could do (Some user…

I’m actually using green mode and not trade mode. So it is mystery for me why it try to sell all. My max day production is 70kwh, I usually use 25-35kwh in 24h and my battery is 80kwh. So for the next day PV to fit in the battery it must not sell to 15% (my case min soc for ESS). Selling to 30% i…

I’m not sure if in Green mode & Hack applied the system is even supposed to be selling from battery to grid.

Hack still works on v3.55 !
Only VenusOS v3.60~47 and higher are incompatible with the Hack.
