I started using Victron DESS since the first of January this year, I have a contract with dynamic electricity prices. Today I noticed that the PV power is not shown in the VRM Portal (Dashboard). I don’t have a data connection between my SolarEdge SE3680 PV inverter (2016 model) and my Cerbo GX, as far as I know this is not fully supported or required for my situation.
Until the end of last year standard Victron ESS worked fine without a data connection between my PV and Cerbo. Based on frequency shifting by the MPIIs, the battery charge current matched the PV generation curve. See the following picture from July last year:
Today I noticed that somehow the VRM Portal does not ‘see’ the power generated by my PV system. In the following picture you can see that 2.277 W of power is being fed into the grid:
When I took these screenshots, approximately 3 kWh had already been fed into the grid (as visible in my SolarEdge app data). This is not shown in the VRM Dashboard:
In total approximately 11 kWh has been fed into the grid today, the VRM Portal still shows 0.0 kWh. I also noticed that my batteries have only been charged with grid power and not with my PV power. I don’t know why this happens, especially since my standard ESS (not dynamic) configuration worked as expected.
All suggestions are very welcome.
