DESS - Multi RS Solar stops PV, gets power from Grid for usage

Why is my device getting power from Grid and not PV?
PV is neglected and is not providing power as the battery is full.
How can i prevent using grid power? PV power is free, prices are not negative. PV-power could be around 4kW this time of the day.

Looking with VictronConnect - how is the ESS mode set in Multi RS settings and which is the Minimum discharge SOC?

Is it by any change set as “Optimized WITH battery life” and you come from a long period of clouds?

ESS Mode = Optimized without Battery life
Minimum SoC at discharge = 15%
Grid setpoint = 0W
Usage of battery = All system loads (not only critical loads).

Time was 14.30, sun is shining all day, since around 08.30. Battery was 100% around 13.00

According to VRM, balancing is planned for today. Battery SoC is 100% for 2hours now…

Now half an hour later, DESS decided to feed back into the grid again.
Must be a bug i would say….

Wonder if you find an explanation for what’s happening to you in the link below.
It seems that it’s only a draft…
To be honest, either I am blind or I didn’t see up until now a proper, official, explanation of how Victron’s DESS is working…

we have seen this Issue under certain situations now (Battery Balancing is one of them) and are already investigating it.
