It seems that there is an issue with the messurments. But i can’t find a sollution.
During my holyday everything is turned of in the house. max 300 watt an hour is the reel consumtion. (so it sould 6KW a day max)
But somehow Victron shows 20,9 KW.
Situation
3x Multiplus 8000
1x solaredge SE 5000 on fase 1
1x EM24 grid meter
1x MPPT
1 Cerbo
What I Think is happening: The Solaredge is on L1 (AC-out 1) and delivers 3800 watts
The EM24 messures that to. minus the % to Charge
L2 and L3 ar compensating to keep the Grid meter at zero.
and charge the battery with the exces power.
Somehow the victron Sees that als consumption. But i’m not sure.
First, you probably need to check the settings of the EM24. It should be configured to saldating / netting mode for your desired output.
If yours is running in individual phase mode, the output is different.
But that should only (negatively) impact the to grid / from grid figures. Consumption should remain the same.
Did you configure the MPs as 3phase System correctly through VEConfigure?
Having the consumption raising along with solar generally indicates, that the system can not see (mathematically) were all the reported solar power is going. Thus, it will conclude that there gotta be consumption between the multiplus acout and pv inverter.
Also make sure, that you have the pvinverter on L1 as assumed - if it would report on another phase than physically connected, that can also mess up maths.
Hi,
I’m Unable to check the EM24 remotely, so that has to wait until i’m there.
The multiplus is set in 3 phase correctly. and i have checked that the solar is on phase 1. so that sould be correct.
The consumption stays the same the whole day, only basic power (max 300 watts an hour)(nobody at the site). so a bit diference is what we can expect due to losses, but 14KW off is to much
Next thing is het EM24 meter itself. But that has to wait.
Will check as soon as i’m there.
HI,
Update:
I,ve checked the EM24 ant that is in Mode H. And thats the most advance setting.
Its pretty hard to check right now, due to the house is in use again.
I will check if phase 1 is realy phase 1. On the Grid meter and on the multiplus.. But thats for next week.
Keep you up to date..
