Quick question for a beginner, adding a smart shunt to my Battery which is in a Battery Box for Camping. Can I directly screw in the Smart Shunt to the battery terminal, or does there need to be cable between the battery and shunt?
@Fieldsy yes you can connect directly to the battery but I would be concerned with the smartshunt sticking out may be subject to being hit by something so I would mount it flush to a surface and connect it with a short cable.

Thanks Trevor, its going to be in a self contained battery box, ill see if there is room to mount it.
