I couldn’t set the “Start when Battery voltage is lower than” condition in the new DSE genset controller to anything above 12.3V even though it is a 24V battery bank.
The solution was to set the “Stop value” (at the bottom of the page) first, which then allows you to go back up and change the start value (found in the post linked below).
I would expect to be able to change these settings in order from the top to the bottom.
Suggested fix 1: display a message indicating why you can’t increase the start value any further e.g. “Set stop value first”
Suggested fix 2: Automatically increase the stop value as the start value is increased
Just wanted to flag this as a “bug report”.
