Compteur ET112 not communicating

I have two ET112 meters, one for the grid, the other for solar. For no apparent reason, the solar ET112 no longer communicates with the Cerbo GX and is no longer recognized. I checked everything, the RS485/USB interface, the link cable, the USB connector of the Cerbo GX. I also checked the ET112 with Carlo Gavazzi’s software and it works normally. So I only see an interface problem between the ET112 and the Cerbo GX. I noticed that both meters had the same Modbus address (1) but I don’t know if this is a problem. I changed the Modbus address of the ET112 solar to 4 but without success. So I’m completely lost and I don’t know what to further check. Do you have any ideas to submit to me. Thank you for your help.

When both ET112 meters have the same address, then this can’t work.
So you are right, they have to have different addresses, but I have something in mind, that the addresses shall have no gaps. Means, If the first ET112 has the address 1, the next should have the address 2. There should be no gaps. Not shure if this was correct for the Carlo Gavazzi HW, but it is worth a try.

One more try could be to change the Meters.

I found the cause of the problem. There were two ET112 instances created in the device list, the good one and a dummy. After i cancelled the dummy instance the communication restarted.

Very good. Thanks for the feedback!
