I have an old cl12-100 that we don’t have the Bluetooth pin code for, I have tried resetting it using the app and an android phone but it just says it is unable to reset and to contact support which i have and up to now haven’t had a reply.
Just wondering if I am missing something or the unit is u/s, it is communicating with the phone as it passes over it’s serial number so what other reason could there be for the app to not be able to carry out the reset.
I have tried “000000” after attempted reset but is still said wrong pin.

Unfortunately, there has been a series where the PUK functionality was not properly programmed and this unit very likely falls into that range. Please use Need support? - Victron Energy to get in contact with the distributor that originally sold the unit to apply for warranty.

Many thanks for that, before I asked here I contacted Victron support who cc me an email they sent to BMS technologies who must have been the UK agent that originally sold it, but I never heard from them. Victron said they would check with me in a week to see that the issue was resolved but never did.
I will try chasing BMS technologies but don’t hold out much hope now, shame so much wasted technology now landfill for the sake of a pin code.
