Charge settings lifepo4 Blue smart ip67

Hi , i’ve buyed a lifepo4 165 ah bluetooth for my van and i’m tryng to charge It with a Blue smart ip67 12/20 . The battery at the beginning of the charge , has a 30% of state of charge.

You can see the First phase Is during only 5 second to pass immediately in absorbe for 2 hours. With this predefined settings , the battery After 2 hours stay in floating for too many hours , and After over 24 hours the battery Is not already fully charged.

My answer Is, why the bulk or First phase during only few second ?

How can i set the charger? I’ve try to aument the voltage of absorbing at 14.6 v , but the result Is the same, bulk for few second, absorb for 2 hours and and infinite floating.

Thanks to all.

The usual reason for a short bulk time is you have a poor connection with high resistance and voltage drop between the MPPT and the battery. This could be a loose connection, poor crimp, poor fuse or breaker, isolation switch not making contact, wires too thin or too long etc. Check your wiring both positive and negative. Use a multimeter. The high resistance means that the voltage at the MPPT increases immediately to the absorption voltage of 14.6V even if the battery is only at 13.1V.

I have a doubt.

Is possibile the BDS180( an automatic selector/parallelator for 2 BS) can give this problem ? In effect, the manual says lifepo aren’t supported. But now i have sected It on manual, on the only BS i have mounted.

It can give too much resistance?

Sure i Will try excluding It , but now i cant.

Thnx

If the BDS180 does its own charge conttol (current / voltage control) then that would interfere with the IP67 and give odd results. I do not know the BDS180 so I can not comment further.

For your information, the BDS180 its like the NDS Imanager. Thnx
