Changing settings with MK-3 interface and/or Victron Connect a conflict?

Seeking direction when there is an apparent contradiction in instructions. My system is a Victron Multiplus 24v, 3000 with Smart Shunt, Cerbo Gx, Solar MPPt controller. I’m changing from US AGM batteries to Litime LiFePO4 batteries. I’m told to disable the battery monitor on the victron connect general tab and yet to leave on the Enable Charger setting in the multiplus with the MK-3. Doesn’t this create a conflict?

No, The battery monitor in the multiplus is only an SOC estimator, and is independent of the charger tab settings.

Thank you, Mike
