Cerbo Gx forgot WiFi network after update to 3.66

My battery stopped working 3 hours ago due to the Cerbo GX being offline. I see that the firmware was updated to 3.66. Now, it forgot its WiFi settings. The issue now is that I can no longer set them as the Victron Connect app crashes when trying to connect to the Cerbo. I’ve restarted my phone, restarted the cerbo, checked for an app update (not available), forgot the device and repaired Bluetooth but nothing happens.

  1. For the battery it shouldn’t matter if the Cerbo is online or offline
  2. Try to connect to the WiFi access point of the Cerbo (if you disabled the AP you can enable it by pressing the button at the bottom near the power connector)
    8. Accessing the GX device
  3. Disable automatic updates

Well, if the Cerbo doesn’t receive any updates from the energy meters due to there being no network connection, the battery will not charge/discharge.

Eventually it seemed to have helped to reboot the access point, while all other WiFi devices were connected without issues. Must’ve been a combination of the Victron Cerbo (after updating) and my access point. Connecting with the Cerbo access point helped indeed. It did find wireless networks (sometimes, the list would disappear randomly), just not mine.

Wiring with ethernet is of course the better solution and that’s still on the ToDo list (a little higher now  ). Thank you for your quick reply.
