Cerbo Gx cannot enable MultiPlus

I am using a Cerbo GX to monitor a MultiPlus 24/2000/50. I am using the MultiPlus remote switch loop to turn on the multiplus and leaving it in the on position at the unit. The issue is that the cerbo gx digital switch fails. I can set it to on or inverter only but the state still says off. Ideally, I would like the physical switch wired to the” remote on off” to control the operation of the MultiPlus as it is simpler and quicker. I have no assistants installed, ESS disabled, and no virtual switches enabled in ve config. I have had the issue with 2 out of 6 identical systems. Cerbo GX firmware 3.72. Thank you all for any input!

The Gx remote control will NOT over-ride a local hard wired remote ON/OFF loop, nor will it over-ride the physical on-off-charger switch in that if the hard wired configuration is “off” then the Gx cannot turn the inverter on. If both physical switch and remote loop are on, then the Gx can control the on/off/mode function.

Update: Thank you for confirming this Mike. I realized that when the problem was occurring the red low voltage flashing light was flashing which is strange because I have my low input voltage set extremely low for the sake of testing. seems that at 24 Volts the light comes on and I lose control of the cerbo gx switch unless the charger is used. This makes sense. I will triple check my VE Config voltage settings.

Thanks,

Charlie

Resolved! I just needed to lower my restart voltage. My voltage was between the shutdown voltage and the restart voltage. It seems that when I turn the MultiPlus off and back on using the The remote switch loop, The MultiPlus wants to see the voltage higher than the restart voltage. The flashing red light will remain on until the voltage rises above the restart voltage value despite having never hit the low voltage warning or shut down voltage. I assume because using the switch loop is essentially turning the MultiPlus off and on completely.
