bought myself a 2ndhand venus GX. connect RS Solar with VE.CAN with end-stops 120ohm. Venus is in my local network but won’t connect to RS Solar. I can change settings in Venus GX but no connection. Network Status says: ERROR-PASSIVE bus off: 4218 ERROR passive: 4836
When i look in VRM, it looks like it is still connected with an older Solar Charger (from previous owner maybe?)
Can someone please tell me what im doing wrong?

Check with another cable.
Check that the RS is connected on a VE.Can port, not on BMS.Can (on the old Cerbo)
Verify that the CAN profile of the port where the RS is connected is VE.Can & Lynx BMS (250kbps).

What version is it running? Are you sure the ve can port has the correct profile loaded?

yes, it is plugged in VE.Can.

latest version.. v3.71-3. also tries beta version…
How can i change profile VE.Can port of RS Solar?
Current version is 3.72.
3.71-3 is an old beta.
There is no way to change the RS.
If the venus can’t see it, either the device is off or there is a bad GX setting or faulty hardware.
updated firmware to 3.72 still no connection. Can try to buy other terminators…

Problem solved! With the new terminators the Venus connects with the RS inverter.
One more question left:
When I bought the Venus, I asked the previous owner to add me in the cloud account..
After Some time he managed this. Now I’m there as user. Asked him to make me administrator. But this is above his skills.
Is there any other way to make this happen?
