Got a brand new Multiplus 12/1200/50 on the bench to program it. Plugged in the Victron Bluesmart charger set to power supply. Opened VEConfigure, updated VEConfigure, turned on inverter and I just get a constant relay clicking noise. Tried disconnecting everything, letting it sit and starting over with same results.
I have programmed many inverters with this exact method and the same computer, charger and MK3.
Any ideas?
Is it on the latest FW? We had this issue with one of these last year and either the FW update or just the process of doing the full reset corrected the issue. It’s worth trying, even if you update the same FW version that’s already on it.
I am able to connect to it via VE Bus Smart Dongle and can see the firmware is up to date. Also, reset to factory settings. Just disconnected everything again. Gave it 15 min. Held down power button for a while to discharge capacitors(not sure if that is necessary). Is there a hard reset method I should do beyond this?
Sent a video to my distributor. They are taking it back.
