"BP" code on my solar controller/inverter

Hello. I made an off grid setup, consisting of several solar panels, and what seems to be a decent solar controller/inverter. My question is, I tried to connect my battery to the controller, but I received a “BP” code on the dashboard screen. I heard people say that this means the battery is not being detected. I couldn’t understand the manual due to it being in Polish. Likewise, I am from Europe.

The battery is your regular EFB flooded ZAP battery. I noticed it is now low on charge, around 12.3 volts it said. So I have put it to charge, and will try to connect it once more after it fully charges. Any ideas why I got this error, could it be due to battery’s low voltage? Thank you, kind people.

Hi, thank you for the reply. It is not a Victron, but it is called: Qoltec Hybrid Solar Inverter Off-Grid 3kVA. I can’t send the picture now of the dashboard, unfortunately.

Sounded like a non victron error code. Not sure how a victron forum will help you though.
