Borrowing MK3 - France (Limoges)

Hello All,

I am in France installing a multiplus for a friend. I forgot my MK3- USBC in the US and was wondering if anyone had one I could borrow?

@stephanbitterwolf If the system has a GX device you can do it remotely from within VRM. Otherwise I hope you get sorted.

Hello,

I tried the online portal but am unable to see the charger settings. I need to tell the charger what kind of battery I have (lifepo4) so it doesn’t overcharge. Can that really be done with the vrm portal?

You need VE Configure … :wink:

if you have a configured system … via VRM / Device List / Ve Configure Remote Configuration

Download / open … / Change Settings / Save … / Upload … Ready :slight_smile:

Ok, I was able to do it. The biggest issue was trying to use the software on a mac.

For others. I used the Whisky app to install the software on my mac. The biggest hurdle is then to figure out how to open the downloaded .rvsc file.

THE KEY is to tell mac to use WHISKY to open this file type.

Then it works perfectly as stated in the other guides.

At first I was opening the file using the “fake target from file” option and then saving that. But the VRM portal rejected that file saying:

Error An error occurred during the configuration process.

Error Message: “Updating a single unit with another unit’s settings is not possible, even if they are of the same type”
