BMV-700 Problem

3 days ago, the App stopped showing me battery percentage. If I look in the Device list, I see “Battery Monitor - last seen 3 days ago.” so it appears that’s the problem. Absolute beginner here, so not sure what can be the cause - the BMV-700 itself, or the Shunt? Main question - despite this, will the system continue to work normally?

Note: The meter itself is showing the voltage, but the percentage is not appearing in the app.

What do you mean by the “app” in your post, VictronConnect, a GX device, VRM. Do you have a VE direct cable connected or just Bluetooth via a Smart dongle.

If it is wired by a VE Direct cable the first thing to check is the cable connections at each end. If it is Bluetooth via a Smart Dongle that has a troubleshooting section in the manual.

Thanks PW. Both the VRM app and the web based equivalent. Bizarrely, it’s started working again just after I posted, though. If it recurs, I’ll check as you suggest.
