I try to set SOC via BMS NG 500 and I’m being a bit confused about it.
I want to set a limit on 80% soc as 100% on victron connect app.
Is it possible to set it only from bms or i have to set multiplus and also?
That setting is to set the actual SOC, you should only do that if it is wrong. If you have changed it fully recharge so it goes back to 100% when full to get accuracy back.
You can not set the BMS to only charge to 80%. Victron do not require this. If you want to do this you will need to write some Node-RED code on the GX device. If you fo not charge to 100% from time to time the cells will go out of balance.
