Hello, Lynx BMS NG set, Victron Lithium NG 200Ah.

When testing this set, one defect was detected.

When the Lynx BMS NG was completely turned off via VictronConnect (contactor disconnected), the SOC was 100pct. After turning it on after about a week, the indicated SOC was 62pct. The battery voltage corresponds to 100pct. SOC.

The Lynx NG BMS does not have a setting to make it remember the SOC when turned off and on like many of the battery monitors, therefore the SOC will not always be accurate on restart. You need to either manually reset the SOC or carry out a charge to 100% to resynchronise.

Thanks for the reply, it’s strange that it doesn’t remember the value but OK. But in Standby mode it doesn’t lose the SOC value, right?

I am not 100% sure about standby as I have never put mine in standby, but I except you are correct, it should retain it.
