Blue Smart with AGM battery

Hello, new to Victron. I recently bought an 85 ah AGM battery.

I believe I need a Mppt regulator

I have chosen Blue Smart 75 / 15 regulator.

Without blue tooth

I believe I also need Ve. Direct Cable with USB and C.

So that I can programme using my phone?

Is this regulator the correct one for AGM batteries.

I have 3 100 watt panels

The 75/15 should work but is you have panels in series check the maximum voltage is below 75V, if you have panels in parallel check the maximum current is below 15A, you can check the Victron MPPT calculator link below. Personally, I would just get the SmartSolar version and set it up using Bluetooth as this makes monitoring easier rather than the VE Direct to USB cable.

The trouble is there is a wide range of manufacturers recommended charging voltsges for AGM batteries, so even if it was defaulted to AGM they may not be right for yours. Always refer to the manufacturers data and set up a user defined charge profile.
