Best way to monitor a 48V system and the 12V system in my van

My van has 2 systems,

  • the default 12V house battery (with 12V battery, smartshunt, Orion 12/12DC-DC and solar pannel + 12V MPPT, and 230V to 12V charger, NO INVERTER) to power the household 12V systems (lights, waterpump etc…)
  • and a second 48V system (with 48V battery CAN bus connected to a Multiplus 2 GX, separte solar pannels + MPPT 48V and orion 12/48 DC-DC) to run the inverter for 230V loads, charge the 48V battery from 230V and even charge the 12 household battery and do 230V power assist on site with low mains power

I have the 48V setup (through the GX) nicely monitored on the Victron GUI V2 (the 48V MPPT is VE-Bus connected)

But … how can I add the 12V setup in the monitoring mix (12V shunt, MPPT, Orion) all have VE bus outputs (not yet connected to the 48V GX in the multiplus as I I am afraid to confuse the system).

Any advice (do I really need to add a second GX??) , working setups are welcome!

I have 3 voltages in our RV, the GX doesn’t like it. 12V chassis shunt is set to alternator, it works as it should. The 12V house loads shunt doesn’t play well. It shows fine in the device list, but confuses the DC load readings.

Thanks, I hope one day Victron can intergrate this intelligently as the mixed setup will become more and more common. For now I will add a PiOS with a https://www.duppa.net/product/usb-quadport-ve-direct/ and consider it a second installation in the same van.
