I think you need to add a feature under the gen start stop settings to choose an alternative battery monitor. I have a 48 volt system plus they also maintain a 12 volt battery with an Orion. I have a smart shunt for the 12 volt system to monitor the battery and the CAN BUS for my 48 volt system. I have a relay installed on the Orion to allow me to charge the 12 volt as needed but I have it set up as a Gen start stop feature and I chose the voltage option. This only operates if the main battery monitor in the system setup is the smart shunt for the 12 volt system. Can you add a feature under the gen settings to choose an alternative battery monitor?
