Battery status on Dashboard

Hi, hoping someone can help with a simple question.
If I have a Victron smart shunt connected to a battery and a Cerbo GX. Should I be able to see the SOC and voltage/current on the dashboard or is this only an option when I fit a victron inverter? I currently have another brand 24/240v inverter. I can see the battery status on the advanced page
thanks

Apart from the shunt and GX, what victron gear do you have?

On the GX device have you been into settings / system setup / batteries / battery monitor and chosen the SmartShunt as the battery monitor.

Hi and thanks
On this system it’s a wind charge controller 24v feeding lifepo 25.6v battery. Novopal inverter. Then the cerbo gx and smart shunt

On my first system where I can see everything. Pic below

Ok thanks. With my first system which works I can’t recall doing that but I’ll login locally and check

Ok had a look. When I go into system setup and battery monitor it just has automatic or no battery monitor as options.

Deleted.

Sorted. Did a reset and deletes system. Started again and this time came as option. Thanks
