Battery SOC on reset

Last fall, I disconnected my new 230AH LiTime lithium battery and SmartShunt from my RV (with a solar panel) and stored it in my basement as our temps get below 0 degrees often. We are getting ready to go camping next week. I was thinking about putting it on a lithium charger now until it reaches 100% and reinstall it and the SmartShunt back on the RV. Should I do a manual synchronization to 100% since everything was disconnected? And what do you recommend for the "Battery SOC on reset” setting in the SmartShunt? Thanks

It depends on your use case.

The way you handled it is perfect though.

Even if you had set keep soc ok reset it would have been out by a bit as there is a bit of self discharge in a battery in storage. (It would have cleared up on its first recharge if charged through the shunt though - so really what are the chances of that happening on your trip?)

So full recharge with your charger - manual sync to 100% and you are golden.
