I have a Samsung A9+ Android tablet used as Victron GX display. Installed Victron tablet software via QR code on Android 14 just fine and that worked well.
However I have since reset and updated the tablet to Android 15 and then tried to set it up again using the QR code installation method, but that now fails in the “setting up device” part of flow. I updated to Android 16 to see if that would fix it but unfortunately it fails in the same way.
I have had to do a manual install of the apk which does work but has downsides as then Android lock screen shows if screen turns off etc. I really miss the QR code based install which sets the tablet up to only run the Victron GX Display software!
Has anyone else had success with the QR code install method on Android 15 or Android 16?
