Similar scenario to EVCS in Victron Connect but not showing in VRM
Hi. I was having problems when trying to add a brand new EVCS NS to an established MP II system with CerboGX.
I started my install by upgrading Firmwares:-
EVCS to v2.08
Cerbo GX to v3.75 (from v3.65)
Could not discover the device in Cerbo Services>TCP/UDP
Tried reverting the Cerbo firmware to v3.65
The cerbo menu structure in Modbus/UDP devices pages looks different and I could scan for the EVCS, find it, and then it popped up in my VRM portal as it should do.
Perhaps there is something off (or a new step I’ve missed) in cerbo v3.75?
I have restored cerbo v3.75 and the EVCS is still available & controllable, but in the cerbo the Modbus TCP services listing looks odd. There are 3 devices at id:100 one of which has a title “com.victronenergy.system” and this looks a different syntax from the other device titles that are things like “GX Device”, “Multiplus II”, “EV charging station” etc.
Many thanks for looking at this, David.
