I have registered a new account with Cerbo GX id . Previously it was registered in my husband’s name. Is it possible for me to use the app to monitor all the system activity, with a new account in my name? So far Victron won’t connect me and I need some advice on how to proceed.

Hi Lorena,
I think you mean the Victron Remote Monitor, rather than the Victron connect (Different ap).
If so, then you need to sign on to your husbands account and invite you account to monitor that station’s activity. If you then set your access level as administrator (from the original account) you can then take control of the station fully.
Hi Mike, thank you so much for responding, unfortunately my husband passed away last year in September. I haven’t been able to face the solar panel system and have just switched it on again after many months. I have no access to his account, I had a copy on Victron connect which worked really well, but I never did any updates and it doesn’t seem to be working any more.
I have tried to open an account with VRM but hasn’t accepted me yet. It says it has contacted the administrator for the device which I cited as cerbo gx.
Any advice is truly appreciated.

do you have local access to the Cerbo or other controlling device? If you are not sure of what that is, please post a few pictures of your system, and more help will be possible. It would also help if you have access to your husband’s email account…
The official route to getting this sorted is through the original dealer.
Enter the Cerbo serial number on this page it should connect you with the dealer who can arrange the transfer. They may ask for proof that you have the device. Use the enter serial number box lower down the page in the location below. If you can not get this sorted with the dealer let us know and we van try to get it to someones attention.

- Can’t connect to VRM- downloaded yesterday, but it says they are contacting administrators via email and waiting for approval. If they try to contact my husband, unfortunately, not possible, he passed away in September last year. I have no access to his emails.

I really need either a step by step guide Victron for dummies, or some expert to sort out the things that aren’t working properly. I have the solar panels on and everything is working perfectly, but I can’t see what state the batteries are in. It has been switched off for many months, since November, when things stopped working, maybe because I never did any firmware updates.
This is an attempt to try to overcome my grief and do things as my husband would have wished. Really appreciate any kind of help in the right direction.
