AC-coupled wind in separate category

Hi,

I have a wind turbine connected to my Victron system. The wind turbine is AC-coupled through an ABB UNO solar inverter. The MPPT in the solar inverters is disabled and the inverter is controlled by en external system. The ABB UNO is connected to the Cerbo GX over ethernet and shows up as standard PV inverter.

However, the PV yield shown on the Cerbo as well as VRM is a combination of wind and DC-coupled solar. Ideally I would like to rename the ABB UNO PV inverter in Cerbo to show up as wind turbine and that the graphs etc in VRM should show wind. I have seen other posts about this, but with DC-coupled wind. In that case this is solved through a smart shunt on the DC-side for the wind generator. Is there something similar that can be done for AC-coupled wind?

Interesting Setup. Likewise agree would be nice if the Wind & Solar yield data could be displayed separately like smaller DC coupled setups where a smart shunt is applied;

I see it’s possible to see some power graphs and detailed kWh yield stats of the AC Coupled Wind inverter under advanced.

Of course is still labelled as ‘PV Inverter’ even though it’s wind.

Even aside from Wind It would also be better if AC coupled solar and DC coupled solar stats were separated, as the DC doesn’t account for losses that occur thereafter on the inverting to AC.

I guess AC coupled wind is too niche for Victron to consider customisation on the VRM
