Abrupt VE.Bus Error 24 after years of stability

Looks like this fellow had the same “AC input 241” thing happen within a day of me having it. Does this imply a software issue or setting versus hardware?

Victron MP2 Anzeige mit Cerbo V3.62 -> Anzeige merkwürdig? (had to ChatGPT for translation).

Victron MP2 Display with Cerbo V3.62 → Display acting strangely?

Post by Jens Rehpöhler (“Meine_Energiewende”) – Jul 3:
Hi there,

I suddenly have the following display for the MP2 on a Cerbo with VenusOS 3.62 in a 3-phase system:

(images showing current display)

Before the update, it looked like this:

(images showing previous display)

Has anyone seen this issue before? All detailed info is missing. I’m not aware of any setting to toggle this. The system itself works without any issues.

Thanks!
Jens

The issue with the display occurred after disconnecting the AC connection…
After rebooting the Cerbo, it now looks like this:

This has now happened with two different systems. That can’t really be a coincidence.

Hi,
So, if the Multi is turned off when the Cerbo is started, then all the data is missing. The data only shows up again once the Multi is turned back on. Maybe the issue is related to that.

Was the Multi turned off when the Cerbo was restarted, and afterwards the data was missing?

Cheers

The Multis were never off… only AC-In was disconnected. In the “Active AC Input” field, it no longer showed “disconnected,” but rather “AC Input 241…”

This all really smells like a bug. I’ll try to reproduce it on a test system over the weekend.
