A 4 unit split-phase Multiplus2 system possible?

Hello everyone. I was wondering. Can I setup a system to use two Multiplus-II units for L1 and two Multiplus-II units for L2? To make a split phase configurations with 4 units?

Or is that something only the Quatro units can do? Also what is the maximum units I can parallel this way?

Thanks so much, appreciated!

That’s a good question, hopefully someone with a more concrete answer can reply but as far as I’m aware the multiplus II would support up to 6 units in total and requires an equal amount of identical units on each phase. So 2/4/6 units used in a split phase config. You can’t run dissimilar models and they have to be of equal qty

Split phase is a bit off market it seems for victron, though the hardware and software supports it, it seems like they don’t put a lot of effort into the literature specifically regarding split phase setups. Which, fair enough is likely a pretty small market share for them

Yes you can. This guy did exactly that.
Be sure to balance the parallel inverters by using the same length cables for AC In and ACOut. And make sure the wiring is correct. There are some VEConfigure screenshots.

Thanks!

Thanks, yes i’ve learned the 5000VA units don’t have the external transfer switch requirement. So up to 6 of the same unites per phase can be used.
