3 x 230V Delta grid

Hello,
I want to make an installation on a Belgian 3 x 230V delta grid. Three phase without N. I want to connect a single Quattro II on L1. If possible, I want to have to backup load on the AC-OUT as well.
On the forum I’ve seen that it’s possible but I’m confused by all the answers.

  • How do I connect the Quattro II on L1? Does this mean connecting L1 to L-input and L2 to N-input?
  • How do I measure the solar production? Can I use an ET340 for this with the solar panel output connected to L1 and L2? And thus again the L-output to L1 and the N-output to L2?
  • For grid measurement I’m planning on using the EM540. Should I just hook this up as normal but without N?

Thank you !

Hi i would advice you to contact a local official dealer they can help you with this specific setup in your area

You dont need a neutral if the voltage measured on L1 and L2 is 230V the quatro should work just fine it only needs a reference voltage. The outputs should work as normal. I think if you replace the N with L2 and do not use L3 every device you have should work should but check with someone.

I don’t know what you are doing with the solar you need an MPPT to charge the battery or a PV inverter to AC couple and use the internal quatro charger. The ET112 will measure a single phase from a PV inverter you don’t need to ET340 unless the PV inverter is a 3 phase. It will be interesting to see how you go.
