2FA issue on vrm portal? anyone else

Folks,

I’m experiencing text/sms 2FA issues while trying to login to the vrm portal with the following error.

my 2nd (read only) account is still available, so the portal is still functioning.

Anyone else having the same issue or is it known to Victron?

Yep having issues. I have a different message. Has to reset 2FA (which you can do on the login). And also can’t add it back on after.

Ok. Step to sort mine included..

  1. Reset 2fa from the login
  2. Remove all the 2fa entry from the authenticator app to do with the vrm
  3. Re set up the link to 2fa
  4. Login with authenticator.

I wasn’t use sms though. Just a code from an app.

There is a report of some connectivity issues with one of our 3rd party 2FA delivery partners, presumably due to the power disruptions happening in Europe right now (ironically).

I am not sure if this is the cause, or related, but it is one part of the stack with known issues. We’ll continue to investigate and try and further isolate.

Don’t they have a Victron system for backup? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Are you still experiencing issues?

There hasn’t been any fix implemented, but we have added more checks, and those aren’t showing any issues right now.

I need to revert my comment, it was working this morning but isn’t anymore. So I’m still having issues accessing the vrm portal

Same problem here, cerbo is online, locally I can reach it. Resetting password impossible.
Link has been sent but new password shows Too many requests.
Logging in with original password shows back end server not available.

@guystewart any progress on the resolution? It’s getting annoying as I’m preparing some changes to the system which I can’t do right now.

I will escalate it now. I was not aware of any outstanding issues with this.

Same problem here with 2FA sms. But how can you deactivate 2FA without being logged in ?

I hope the escalation will be active for all of us, because lots of people seem to be effected.

Also strange that on my posts with same problem nobody from Victron reacts, all Info with screendumps included

I have one laptop from which I can connect , with no sms .

I can’t change anything regarding 2FA .

It looks to me that settings sistems is set for 2FA, but connection doesn’t sent SMS and use simple user/pass
