2 times multiplus2 on a 3 phase connection

Is it possible to use 2 x multiplus2 5000 on a 3 phase connection.

Ess is now running on 1 multiplus2 but i want to add a second one on phase 2.
Now the multiplus2 is running on phase 1 and compensating for phase 2 and 3.
i want to add one on phase 2,is that possible of can you only run 1 or 3 inverters?

If it is possible and i connect both inverters on the cerbo do i need to configure the second inverter as a phase 2 inverter? Or just connect them and finish?

The inverter is now only connected at the line in.

Thank you in advanced!

Richard

That’s possible, in VE.Bus System configurator you can select “dual phase 120” for this case.

Oke super, i thought so but there is not much to find for this configuration and i want to be shure.

Thank you for the awnser

Yes, I also wondered what that was for, but then one of my 3 multis died and I asked here and learned about it…

Oke,

For me is it just for ess and keep 0 on the meter.
8kw in total is enough for 99% of the time.
Maby in the future i wil go for a 3rd 5kva but for now it is ok.
But then i want first more power from the solar panels (it is now 6kw)
Battery power is already a little more then 90kwh so thats more then enough.

It stays a build in progress :rofl:

Do you have net metering and export limits? I have 2 phases and use 3 multiplus different batteries and sizes. I use 1 shelly 3em to monitor the grid. They are all running venus OS on rpi or cerbo. I have them set to manage all phases and not the invidual phase they are connected. It took a lot to setup but very impressive to watch them share the load and charge from excess PV grid connected solar.
