Looking for information or procedure to change settings on an installation that has a multiplus 48/5000/70 installed and setup for single phase, 230vac/50Hz and now adding 2 more identical multiplus units for single and 3 phase output.
I see information to setup 3 phase, but my question is about changing settings on the Cerbo GX when it already has settings for single phase and is in operation
Any recommendations or best practices I need to consider?
Any articles already address this?
cheers
First check if your multiplusses are not to far apart with manufacturing date/ age
You will need to reconfigure the whole system, first with an mk3 to set them up for 3 phase, then with ve configure to load settings/assitants
Its al in the manual:

Thanks for your answer. The multiplusses are 3 48/5000/70 bought same day same place. Thanks for the link. My MK3 should be delivered today

It’s now OK using a MK3-USB. I’m suprised to see the 3 multiplusses are displayed as one only device in VRM. No problem as they will have same configuration! Thanks again for your help.

Just an update. Installed and set up the 3 Multiplus 48/5000/70 units shortly after the original post. No issues. All is working and in use. Each of the 3 phases are connected to a row of single phase 230v with each row balanced for load, with the Master having the lowest load as it will also be charging the 48 volt LiFePo4 battery banks from a single phase, 230v generator. Solar is also charging the batteries. There is a Cerbo GX and a Smart Shunt. The Smart Shunt is set as the battery monitor.
There is a separate 3 phase panel for a dive compressor. There is also a plan to change the water maker HP pump motor to 3 phase soon. It is currently single phase.
The generator is new and will be installed soon and set up for automatic start/stop.
A temporary generator has been used manually until now.
The boat also has a 24v house bank that powers the navigation, lights and hydraulics. It consists of AGM batteries and is charged from the 230vac (which is powered from the Multiplus setup), and a 24v alternator on the main engine, and the solar can be diverted to a backup mppt if needed. The boat has great redundancy.
I am about to connect some more Victron equipment that is already onboard for the 24 volt system. There is a color control gx, another smart shunt, a Victron 24 volt charger, 80 amps, a Victron 24v, 8 amp smart charger.
I will set this up as an independent installation. Just curious about any conflicts with the VRM and Victron Connect apps while monitoring each system locally and remotely.
Has anyone used 2 systems at the same location? TIA
