Hello @Alfredo,

I have confirmed that it is possible to use these two models together in a parallel and three phase system.

The software checks for the first 4 digits in the firmware number (in this case 2629), if that number changes, we also typically will change the part number, (PMP482305010).

@Guy Stewart (Victron Community Manager), there seems to be an inconsistency in the document http://www.victronenergy.com/upload/documents/manual-VE.Bus-firmware-versions-explained-EN.pdf.

I note that it has been edited in 2020 to indicate clarification of this paragraph. As it stands, the example table says this is possibly even if the first two numbers differ but as long as the model and firmware version matches:

1606160955777.png

Example you could use a combination of:

- 2641 Quattro 24/3000/70-50/30

- 1941 Quattro 24/3000/70-50/30

As long as you used only the newest firmware available in the 200 series since the 400 series is not available on the 19xx microprocessor.

Thus, it would be 2641209.vff and 1941209.vff as a the time of this post.

  1. Ok, thank you so much!, I prefer you to confirm, but reading Victron website:
  • All units in one system must be the same type and firmware version, this includes same size, system voltage, and feature set. The type is indicated by the first four digits of the firmware version number. For details, see the “VE.Bus Firmware Numbering System” section in the VE.Bus Firmware versions explained document.

Both of them are same model PMP482305010 and have identical firmware version 2629.

Them only differs on hardware revision: hw rev 8 and 9.

Best regards.
