If a Victron SolarSense 750 is installed in a system, will the Victron EV Charging Station software use the potential available PV power datapoint that the SolarSense produces to help it decide how much to charge etc?
Currently not. Currently your best shot is, to allow the evcs to discharge your homebattery down to (for example) 90% soc. When the battery is actively discharged, the inverters will keep solar unthrottled as much as possible.
If you know, your solar will be for example 7 kW, it makes sence to limit the evcs around that value, so that the time it takes down to 90% can harvest as much solar share as possible, ideally at a -100W dischargerate or sth.
Not going into detail, just saying that the EVCS will be able to make use of solar senses in a indirect way probably during this year.
